The project required the extension of the existing structure and the addition of a new factory shed on the extended plot for production, while integrating new workspaces and amenities for staff.
Spaces unfold across three connected parts, all anchored by a walkway bridging the past with the present.
Part 1 is an extension to the existing building, housing an executive entrance and waiting, office spaces, R&D, and an apartment.
Part 2 is the mezzanine insertion within the existing shed accommodating laboratories and managerial functions.
Part 3 is a new shed where storage, production, and dispatch activities are catered along with a dining area overlooking the frontal landscape on a new extended plot.
The design aims to bring coherence to the existing structure, streamline the aesthetics, create rhythm and order across the facade, bring an identity to a previously fragmented industrial setting, and enhance functionality through thoughtful spatial planning and subtle architectural refinements.
